IBL Image Based Lighting

This is where HDRI and 3D application meet to produce this sort of result. IBL is very popular with 3D FX of Hollywood and advertisement of motor vehicle companies, such as Mercedes Benz and other top brands, it is also very popular with industrial photography work, where an artificial object is placed in a natural environment. One can learn a great deal of 3D IBL from pretty darn good resources available on the internet these days and if one have a good level of photography knowledge it is a plus point.

C4D FX

Art work made entirely on C4D (Cinema 4D). However, to light up the scene an HDRI photo has been used for more natural looking light effect. The spheres and grass were made entirely on C4D using hair tools and the spheres were made by MoGraph. One can find tons of C4D tutorial on www.vimeo.com with hundreds of thousands of artwork inspirations made by artist from around the world using 3D FX applications.
